Office slouch

Apparently, the temperatures are going to finally start warming up this week and stay that way. So naturally, with my hopes up high, I have spring outfits on my mind.

Ann Taylor Camp Shirt (Off-white)(recent version here) / Theory Trousers (similar) /  3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli /  LAUREN by Ralph Lauren Adena Pumps / Michael Kors Runway Watch MK5076 /  Topshop Rings /  Versace 3162 Eyeglasses

I really like the relaxed look of this outfit even though it would only work business casual office environments. Luckily for me, I have a lot of leeway in what I can wear in the office so I can get away with my shirt tail hanging out of my trousers.

I’m not getting my hopes up about this weather LOL! LOVE that bag Cher! LOL that’s awesome you can getaway with that – I wouldn’t think you’d be able to in your industry 😉

Love your simple, but interesting, outfits. If I may ask, what size theory pants do you wear – and do you need to get any alterations done? I, too, am a petite 5’1″ and am struggling to find pants to wear to work (they all hang off of me!) so I’ve been wearing skirts/dresses mostly. Would like to look into pant options. BR & Ann Taylor have failed me with those.

Haha! Actually, I can get away with this because I’m in a small firm and I generally don’t see clients. They hide me in the back. 😉

I wear 00 in Theory Max C style (and a few others) and I usually get hem them, but sometimes I can get away with the inseam with high enough heels. I have about 32.5″ hips. My suggestion when trying to find pants is to not discriminate! And I mean that in the sense that there are so many styles and fabrics out right now, it is so difficult to predict what is going to fit. Even within a single brand sometimes most everything can be big, but once in a while you’ll find that one pair that will actually fit! Otherwise, I would find a pair that fits close and have them hemmed at the hips. HTH!
