The Blue Experiment

I admit, with the exception of black (and maybe white), I feel quite uncomfortable wearing one color head-to-toe. It’s a beautiful look–in an editorial. But let’s face it, I don’t live my life inside a magazine. IRL, I feel a bit like a crayon.

Feeling newly inspired by being away from my closet for a month, I decided to give this look a try since these blue shoes are one of few colored shoes that I own. And you know what? I kind of love it. The black jacket and bag help ground the electric blue better than it would have without those two items

LOL at your crayon comment! The blue looks great on you! I am still experimenting with some color pop since I am usually a neutral play it safe gal so this was a great read.

I’m still fighting the urge to wear all black! These blue pieces have not been worn in over a year, which is really unacceptable since it is my favorite color. I’m trying really, really hard to incorporate more color this season even if it’s just little pops of it!
