Spring Sneakers

We still have a little time before spring arrives, but this super mild weather already has me thinking about spring outfits. Namely, sneakers. This sneaker trend that’s being hanging around the last few seasons is bringing me back to my high school days where we would all change into our cool kicks between class and after school so that we’d stand out from the crowd despite wearing those Catholic school uniforms we would tire of, and hey, may be even try to rebel against authority. Usually, the idea that of reverting back to a “trend” that I took part in 10 or 20 years ago would deter me from trying it again, but I’m totally down with this.

So here a few pairs  that I’ve been seeing around the inter-webs that I’m considering adding to my shoe wardrobe:

And how can you possibly argue with the comfort factor? The Nike Free 4.0 is actually my favorite shoe to work out in. They are light, with minimalist cushioning and they look great. Because let’s be honest, if you’re a runner, you know that running shoes that fit aren’t always the prettiest. But these, I’d be more than happy to wear to the gym and to grab a cup of coffee!
