When I find a great pair of trousers, I cannot resist. I think a lot has to do with the fact that I know that as a small petite, a pair of great fitting pants is hard to come by. Enter these J.Crew Marston Drapey Pants. I can’t quite remember why I had a desire to purchase these. The higher beings know that I don’t have the best luck with J.Crew trousers, but I think I had read in the reviews that they ran a bit small. I also love the more substantial material. I love my Theory silk pants, but they aren’t the most appropriate for colder weather. These Marston pants made from polyester (they also come in wool), will allow me to wear these in the winter and wear some thicker leggings underneath, if necessary.

I missed last week’s post because I caught a lovely summer cold. And it isn’t a light one. I wouldn’t say it’s put me out of commission, but it’s definitely draining me physically. This, on top of a last minute memo that had to go out at work, a post was not in the cards. Not only that, my laptop is making it almost virtually impossible to edit photos at the moment. It’s gotten so bad, I decided to bite the bullet and do a little upgrading. Unfortunately, not a whole new laptop due to budget issues, but anything is better than what is going on right now! Sadly, these single photo posts will likely be the best I can do over the next month or so as it’s the most I can handle without throwing my hands up in frustration.
