I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect leopard print boots and pumps for quite some time now. When I saw these Marc Fisher Ulanily boots on sale, I figured they were worth a shot. Then when I finally had them in my hands, I was completely unsure. I mean, there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. Great heel height, pointed toe, the pattern was just the right color, etc. But, they just felt a little too far outside of my comfort zone. Then I suddenly had a thought…well maybe that is all the more reason to keep them??
I proceeded to try them on with several outfits, most of them all black, of course. But the one that convinced me to keep them was this all winter white combo with the leopard boots. I just fell in love with the contrast. Leopard + white, who knew?
Props (is this still the word kids use these days?) to Banana Republic who designed this long double-breasted houndstooth wool coat in petite sizes. It is such a rarity, even with brands now venturing out to be more accommodating to those of us who don’t fit into “regular” sizing (i.e., tall, plus, petite).
I hope all my American friends had an amazing Thanksgiving. While I didn’t have any turkey, I had a pretty intense weekend, that has started me on a life-changing journey, but more of this another day. It’s been quite a while since I had purchased a cardigan, but I came across this olive green open cardigan and it has suddenly become part of my casual uniform for fall. Throw it over a stripe tee and a pair of denim and I’m good to go.
