I had been searching for a good quality cozy, off-the-shoulder sweater for a few months and I finally fount it in this AQUA cashmere sweater. I was a bit apprehensive trying it, because basically all kinds of wool makes me itch, but I had absolutely no problems with this. It is tunic length on me, but a little tucking in of the hem gives it a different look. Right now, this sweater is 25% off at Bloomingdales. It’s still rather pricey, but If you are looking for an off the shoulder sweater that isn’t made of acrylic or an itchy wool material, I absolutely recommend this.
Also a note about my most recent absence from the blog. While work has gotten [a lot more] chaotic, my camera recently turned into a brick, so I’m without a camera for the next little while until I can get a replacement–hopefully sooner rather than later! For now, I’ll have to dig into the archives and see what I can come up with.
When I spotted this blue suede jacket on Kelly, my eyes nearly popped out of my head. The color is insanely beautiful and unique for a suede jacket. And yet being navy blue, still so versatile. I tried for days to resist buying it, but I eventually gave in. And do I have any regrets? Definitely not!
I opted for a size Small, using Kelly as a point of reference. She if quite narrow-shouldered, while I have a more athletic set, so I know that if she fits into a particular size, I almost certainly have to size up at least one size above her. And the sizing was right on. The jacket is also somewhat heavier than I was expecting, but I’m quite happy about that. For $198, this is quite a steal, but I’ve also seen this on sale at 6pm.com for around $130! They don’t seem to be in stock right now, but if you dig this jacket, keep an eye out for it! It also comes in a gorgeous burgundy color.
It happens more often than I’d like, but sometimes I will take a hundred photos and not a single one will be blog-worthy. It’s annoying to say the least. Yesterday was one of those days, but I thought this one photo might be borderline blog-worthy, so for the sake of posting since I missed all last week, I have shared this one photo. Just one, though.
I actually purchased this J.Crew blazer in regular sizing as opposed to petite sizing, just praying that it was going to fit because I got it for such a good deal ($40!). I’ve been dying to add a double-breasted blazer to my wardrobe, but couldn’t find that was just right and didn’t cost me my left leg. To my surprise, it fit just about perfectly. I may just add this J.Crew double-breasted blazer in Super 120s Wool to complete a non-traditional suit for work, or this white one for more casual days.
