I’m not a huge LOFT fan (I much prefer Ann Taylor’s aesthetic), but every now and then I find some potential gems on the website that I would love to try and see if I could make it work with my existing wardrobe.
This pale jade-colored eyelet button-down just seemed all wrong at first glance. Eyelet is not a texture that I would normally play around with–I’m much more a leather kind of girl. But there was something about this top that I felt like could really freshen up my closet this spring. I think from afar, the eyelet can actually pass for mesh, and mesh is something I can totally be down with.
As you can tell, I’m very much a minimalist when it comes to my work outfits which, at times, makes somewhat of an uninteresting blog particularly when I haven’t made any new purchases. This partly explains the slow down in the EOTDs the past month as I’ve been somewhat uninspired, and outfits have been on unapologetic repeat. With the pre-fall collections hitting stores, I’m hoping for a [small] wardrobe refresh!
One of my go-to work outfits includes these skinny pants from Club Monaco. Pair with a clean button-up and a trench and it just makes for a really easy outfit when I’m in a rush in the mornings. It works with both heels and flats for the daily commute as well!
